has spent all his life in and around the Whiteshell Park,
with family history going back to his grandparents building
a cottage at West Hawk Lake in the 1940's, to residing
permanently at Falcon Lake for the past 30 years.
In his teens, Paul worked at numerous resorts, stores and
restaurants in the park, then became the Whiteshell milk,
ice cream and ice delivery guy for Cambridge Dairies in the
1970's. Paul worked for the Parks Branch in the north end
of the park at Nutimik Lake for 6 years before deciding to
purchase the Falcon Lake Shell Station in 1986. Along with
the Shell Station, Paul has been involved in ownership or
partnership with other Whiteshell businesses, including
Keystone Resort, West Hawk Inn and the Falcon Lake Hardware
Over the years, Paul has been involved with many community
organizations, such as the Community Club and the Falcon
Beach School. He is currently the president of the
Falcon/West Hawk Chamber of Commerce, is the Deputy Chief of
Administration for the South East Whiteshell Fire Dept, and
is on the board of the South Whiteshell Medical Centre and
on the board of the Whiteshell Cemetery committee.
